Kids need an anchor.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are community volunteers who serve as the voice of abused and neglected children in the Luzerne and Wyoming County court system so that these children will be safe, secure and given the opportunity to thrive.

Kids need a voice.

We envision a community in which every abused and neglected child in Luzerne and Wyoming County has a safe, permanent, loving home and the support to become a healthy, empowered adult. That starts by amplifying each and every child's voice.

Kids need a chance.

They need to be seen and heard. They need to feel safe and loved. They need to know that they belong in a community that cares for them. You don't need to become a volunteer to make a difference. You can open your heart and give in other ways, too.

No child should ever be mistreated, because one abused child is one too many.
— Auditor General Eugene DePasquale, State of the Child Special Report (Sept. 2017)
