Highmark is pleased to announce its support of CASA of Luzerne County with a contribution of $5,000.00. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Luzerne County exists to provide a qualified and compassionate court-appointed volunteer advocate to every child who is abused and neglected, to ensure the fundamental human right of having a safe, nurturing, and permanent home is met. At any one point in time, approximately 400 Luzerne County children are in foster care. If you would like to become an advocate or support CASA of Luzerne County please call them at 570-855-2247.
