Giving Tuesday- CASA is Counting on You

This Giving Tuesday you can bring hope to a child. A child who has experienced abuse or neglect. A young person who may be navigating foster care or the court system alone. A child who needs a CASA advocate by their side.

Last year, nearly 500 children were in the dependency court system in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. These children faced new foster homes, new schools, courtroom hearings and a revolving door of adults- all while coping with trauma from the abuse or neglect they experienced and from being removed from their homes and families. No child should have to navigate this instability and uncertainty alone.

At CASA of Wyoming Valley our volunteers tirelessly advocated for over 100 children this year. We greatly appreciate your past generosity and are asking you to renew your support with a gift today.

We are partnering with AllOne Charities to match your donation. AllOne Charities will match the first $1000.00 we raise on Giving Tuesday.

The link is NOW open for Giving Tuesday. Thank you for your support and helping CASA of Luzerne County, doing business as CASA of Wyoming Valley, and the volunteer advocates continue their mission.

Thank You for Making our Kid's Discovery Day/Touch a Truck and Community Expo a Success

On Saturday, July 20th, CASA of Wyoming Valley (Luzerne County) and the Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center hosted a Free community event for children and families
at the Sidney and Pauline Friedman Jewish Community Center in Kingston.
Over 400 people walked through our event, and based on the laughter and excitement from the children, we believe it was a huge success
Thank you to all of our community partners who made this day possible.
We are looking forward to an even bigger event next year!
