Community Screenings of Brave the Dark

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined CASA of Wyoming Valley and CASA of Lackawanna County for our recent community screenings of Brave the Dark.

Over two powerful evenings at Wilkes-Barre’s THINK Center and Tunkhannock’s Dietrich Theater, community members gathered to experience a moving true story of resilience, compassion, and hope. The film inspired thoughtful reflection on the profound impact that mentorship, advocacy, and community support can have on a child’s life.

We are deeply thankful to all who attended, engaged in meaningful dialogue during our panel discussions, and demonstrated their commitment to CASA’s mission. Your presence helped transform these screenings into more than just film events—they became moments of connection, awareness, and inspiration.

A special thank you to our panelists, partners, the Stan Deen Foundation, and the dedicated volunteers whose time and support made these screenings possible.

Together, we continue to shine a light on the importance of standing beside children in our community who need a voice.
