CASA of Wyoming Valley and CASA of Lackawanna County proudly invite the community to complimentary screenings of Brave the Dark, a powerful film based on a true story of resilience, compassion, and hope.
The film follows Mr. Deen, a dedicated teacher whose simple act of kindness toward a struggling student becomes a life-changing commitment. Each screening will be followed by a brief panel discussion with the filmmaker, CASA staff, and child advocates exploring the film’s themes and the impact of advocacy and mentorship.
