Ryan Schofield | executive Director
Ryan Schofield is a lifelong resident of Northeast Pennsylvania. After a decade in local media he has spent the last 14 years doing mission centered work with volunteers across Pennsylvania.
Ryan is an alumni of The University of Scranton. He resides in Clarks Summit, PA with his two children; Nora and Nolan. He's a proud youth sports coach and cheer dad.
Jade Levi | Senior Director of Operations
Jade joined us as an Advocate Coordinator in 2020 after working as a Paralegal/HIPAA Compliance Officer at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the CASA team and believes her personal and professional experience will benefit her in this role. Jade was promoted to Program Director in 2023 and uses her leadership skills to guide her team. Jade was promoted to Senior Director of Operations in 2025 and uses her continued growth and success at CASA to build toward future leadership.
Jade grew up in the Luzerne County foster care system and understands how foster children can thrive when given the chance. She knows how essential it is for a child to have a voice and the impact of having a person who genuinely cares. Jade shares, “This organization’s mission and the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and community partners inspire me every day.
Outside of work, Jade loves spending quality time with her daughter Avery, family, and friends, staying active with Pilates, giving back through volunteering and mentoring, and getting outdoors to kayak or enjoy the beach.
Jade is a graduate of Misericordia University and the Ruth Matthews Bourger Women with Children Program, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Government, Law, and National Security. She also holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Widener University.
Angelina Pacheco | Development and Communications Manager
Angelina joined CASA of Wyoming Valley in January 2024. Before moving to NEPA, she relocated to Maui, Hawaii, from San Diego, California, in 2019. During her time in Maui, she gained over four years of nonprofit and fundraising experience, serving as a Development Assistant at the Maui Health Foundation and as an Events Coordinator Assistant at the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association.
From a young age, Angelina aspired to be an event planner and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in her community. She firmly believes that every child deserves a voice and the opportunity to thrive. By investing time and energy in our youth, we not only help them grow but also strengthen our entire community.
In her free time, Angelina enjoys traveling, visiting amusement parks, and spending quality moments with her husband and their two huskies.
She graduated from the University of Hawaii - West Oahu with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, specializing in Hospitality and Tourism.
Jeannie Zaykowski | advocate coordinator
Jeannie joined CASA in January 2023 after working as a care coordinator for a home health agency. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families in
our community.
She believes that the stability and voice our advocates give to children both inside and outside the courtroom makes a lasting positive impact on their lives. Every abused and neglected child deserves a dependable and well-informed adult advocating for their best interest.
Jeannie is a proud parent of two children. She enjoys enjoys spending time with them and hearing about their daily lives, accomplishments and adventures. She also enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and a wide range of other outdoor activities. Jeannie has given her time and talent volunteering at many other organizations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from West Chester University and a certificate in information technology from Penn State University.
Ethan Krzysik | advocate coordinator
Ethan Krzysik joined CASA of Wyoming Valley in 2026 after previously serving in administrative roles within Luzerne County government. He is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the region's future through CASA's mission of advocating for children and helping them grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
A lifelong resident of Luzerne County, Ethan is actively involved in the local community. He serves as part of the Lehman Township Zoning Board, and is Vice President of Arts at Hayfield - a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to arts education, preservation, and philanthropy/scholarships for students in the Back Mountain. Additionally, he volunteers on various community initiatives such as the Valley Santa program each season, and on committees at the Back Mountain Chamber. He has also previously served on the task force created in 2025 by the county manager to address election issues in Luzerne County alongside other local leaders.
Raised by a single mother and the grandson of Polish immigrants who came to the United States in pursuit of a better life, Krzysik developed a strong commitment to hard work, public service, and giving back to the community that helped shape him.
A graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, Ethan earned several bachelor's degrees from Penn State University and a MA in Political Science from SUNY Binghamton. He is currently completing his MBA at Oklahoma State University
